These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Stdout Software LLC (“Stdout Software”, “we”, “us”) and govern your use of the Ultimate Setlist web application, iOS application and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@stdoutsoftware.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
2. Bands and shared content
Content you add to a band — songs, chord charts, setlists, notes, comments, recordings and venue details — is visible to the other members of that band. Band administrators can add and remove members, edit shared content and publish a public band page. You are responsible for who you invite and for what you share.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you add to the Service. You grant us the licence needed to store, display and transmit that content to you and your bandmates, to generate exports and PDFs you request, and to publish a band page if a band administrator chooses to. You are responsible for having the rights to any lyrics, chord charts, tabs or recordings you upload or import, including content imported from third-party sites such as Ultimate Guitar, and for complying with those sites’ terms.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.
- Do not attempt to access other users’ or other bands’ data, probe or disrupt the Service, or circumvent plan limits.
- Do not use the Service to send spam, including through band invitations.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Plans, trials and subscriptions
Every new account starts with a free trial. After the trial, continued use of paid features requires a Starter or Pro subscription. Plan limits and prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice.
Web purchases are billed through our payment partner RevenueCat. iOS purchases are billed by Apple through your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically each month at the price shown at the time of purchase until cancelled. You can cancel at any time: web subscriptions from the billing page in the app, App Store subscriptions in your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies.
If a subscription lapses, your data is kept but features above the free limits become read-only until you subscribe again.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change or discontinue features. You can export your data at any time from Settings.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stdout Software will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms. Sections 3, 7 and 9 survive termination.
9. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Stdout Software LLC is organised, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the Service or by email, and continued use after the change means you accept the new Terms.
